Superior Spyware Protection:
Counterspy is the single most effective Spyware protection we have encountered. It is simply the best at keeping your computer free of mal-ware, and can automate the tasks so that you don't need to worry about computer maintenance. Please click the picture to find out more.
Good Virus Protection:
Antivir is a powerful and free antivirus solution for home pc's. The program is one of the best we have come across, but as a free program we only recommend it to those who are familiar with computer maintanence. The free version doesn't automate tasks, nor does it automatically update its definitions, but if kept up to date by the user it can provide for a safe and stable system. For a more user-friendly and automated experience, please consider antivir's "premium edition" or Norton AntiVirus.
Good Spyware Protection:
In our experience, nothing can compete with the efficiency of Counterspy, but there is a freeware program that we can recommend for those not ready to purchase counterspy. AdAware is another favorite of ours, and is very effective (though not as much as counterspy) at keeping your computer clean of spyware and general mal-ware. Please note that Adaware does not automate its scans nor does it automatically update it's definitions, so it does require user involvement in order to be effective.
